ORONO — New London-Spicer opened the Wright County slate with a tough opponent on the road.

The Orono Spartans dominated the division point with its blocks and spikes to claim a 25-13, 25-11 and 25-22 victory.

Offensively for the Cats, Sydney Stones slammed down nine kills and Olivia Setterberg 4. Setter Kelsi Rustad finished with 18 assistss.
