KERKHOVEN — A dual of momentums ended Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg’s way Thursday as the Saints thrashed section nemesis Minneota 38-17 in a battle of two Class A state-ranked teams.

Minneota then strung together a three-match win streak of its own, including a major decision at 132, to regain the advantage at 13-9. But KMS responded by winning six the final seven matches.
