CANBY — The Lancers defended their home mat Tuesday by beating Benson 57-18 and Quad County 42-24 at triangular.

Quad County upended Benson 55-21 in the other dual.

Quad County 55, Benson 21

Quad County won the first five matches — three by forfeit — to take a quick 30-0 lead. Collecting pins for Quad County were Victor Rivera at 106 pounds, Aaron Quinlantan at 120, Brandon Bratsch at 152, Brian Bratsch at 195 and Trey Cox at 220.

Benson’s points came from a forfeit at heavyweight, pins from Ben Lundebrek at 138 and Cody Hammerschmidt at 160, and a 10-4 decision from Bryce Goff at 145.

Aaron Lalim (major) at 170 and Oscar Arce at 182 also won decisions for Quad County.

Colten Specht at 113 pounds, Wyatt Hatch at 145 and heavyweight Brier Bossman earned pins for Quad County. Trevor Fagen at 120 and Trey Cox at 220 added decisions.
