Prep Wrestling: Willmar's Miley wins Roder title
MONTEVIDEO - Willmar Cardinal wrestlers competed at the David Roder Memorial Invitational on Friday at Montevideo High School.
Willmar had one champion in the varsity division. Austin Miley at 120-pounds decisioned Jack Citrowske of Canby 10-4.
Cass Herzog at 285 placed second. Third-place winners were Augustine Hahn, Chad Milhausen and Shawn Johnson won third-place matches.
Cardinals coach Ed Oehlers said because of match counts he held some of his varsity wrestlers back which allowed him to give some young wrestlers varsity experience in a large tournament.
