Pro Baseball: Willmar native Smith belts 3rd HR in Class A

Outfielder Jordan Smith of Willmar hit his third home run of the season on Tuesday but the Lake County (Ohio) Captains fell to the Lansing Wingnuts in Michigan's capital city 10-9.

Through Tuesday, the Cleveland Indians' second-year pro, drafted out of St. Cloud State, is batting .265 (40-for-151) with five doubles and four triples and 18 RBI. He has stolen four bases.

The Captains (25-27) play in the Class A Midwest League.
