If commissioners give the process the go-ahead, they will appoint viewers for the lengthy process.

Much of Ditch 23A is located in the city of Willmar and Grass Lake. County Ditch 26 is located in Irving Township.

The County Board meeting begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Other items on the agenda include a report by the Willmar Area Food Shelf and a discussion about a 40-acre parcel of land the county acquired in 1987 during a forfeiture of property. A farmer currently cash rents the 29 tillable acres of land. The commissioners will discuss possible options for future use of the property.

The commissioners will also take action on conditional use permits, hear the 2010 annual report from the feedlot officer and renew a contract to board prisoners from Redwood County.

The commissioners will meet at 11:45 a.m. as the Health Board to discuss special project subcontracts with Planned Parenthood and a contract with the Somali Connection for interpreting services.

At 9 a.m., the board members will meet as the Human Services Board when a report from Heartland Community Action Agency will be presented.

The commissioners meet on the second floor of the Health and Human Services building, located at 2200 23rd St. N.E. in Willmar.
