The show follows the fashion review judging event at 9 a.m. that day at the Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services Building.

4-H'ers will display clothing projects they have purchased or constructed and will be judged on the construction of their garment, how their garment fits into their wardrobe and their clothing knowledge. They are also evaluated on garment fit and poise.

The fashion show will also be performed at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 14 on the 4-H Stage during the Kandiyohi County Fair.

Through the fashion review, young people practice planning, organization, and smart consumerism while gaining self-confidence and developing poise under pressure.

For more information about the 4-H fashion review or joining a 4-H club in your area, contact Jodi Bakke, 4-H Program Coordinator, at the University of Minnesota Extension in Kandiyohi County at 320-231-7890 or 800-738-1485.
