Rain falling this afternoon in west central Minnesota

WILLMAR -- Rain has been falling off and on across west central Minnesota today.

The Willmar forecast from the National Weather Service continues to call for rain and possibly a thunderstorm this afternoon with breezy conditions. It is 39 degrees at the airport.

Rain is likely tonight with areas of fog and a low near 36.

Rain is forecast again Tuesday before 3 p.m., then changing to a mix of rain and snow.

There are areas of fog, icy patches and wet pavement in the area, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, but driving conditions are still considered good.
