Rain to turn into snow tonight in west central Minnesota
Rain is expected to change into snow across southern Minnesota this morning and then spread northward into central Minnesota this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
One to 3 inches of snow accumulation tonight is forecast for west central and central Minnesota.
More snow - 4 to 6 inches - is forecast across south central Minnesota and then northeast over the Twin Cities and into Wisconsin.
The snow will diminish on Wednesday with only light accumulations.

Today: Rain and snow likely after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 44. East wind between 11 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
