Ramona V. Lind April 18, 1930 - Feb. 21, 2009
WILLMAR -- Ramona Victoria Lind, 78, of Willmar and formerly of Spicer, died Saturday at home.
The service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Willmar Assembly of God Church. Burial will be before the service at 9 a.m. at Spicer City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.
She was born April 18, 1930, south of Pennock to William and Henrietta (Gaasterland) Gatewood. She grew up in the Spicer area and attended country schools in Kandiyohi County.
She married Kenneth Lind on Aug. 16, 1948. The couple lived in Spicer. Kenneth died in 1984. Ramona continued to live in Spicer and moved to Willmar in 2000.
She was a member of the Willmar Assembly of God Church and was active in women's ministries, serving groups and senior adults. She was a volunteer for the Willmar Bibles for Mission Thrift Store and was a member of Our Night Out (O.N.O.) for more than 40 years.
She is survived by her children: Kathren (and Dayton) Krueger of Willmar, Kim (and Robert) Lindahl of Spicer and Keith Lind of Wyoming; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother: Stanley Gatewood of Svea.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and one daughter: Karla in infancy.
