Raymond, Minn., man killed in early morning rollover

RAYMOND -- The driver killed in a one-vehicle rollover crash reported around 7 a.m. this morning near Raymond is Thad Lee Meyer, 46, of Raymond.

According to a news release from Kandiyohi County Sheriff Dan Hartog, deputies were called just before 7 a.m. to County Road 7 about a half mile south of State Highway 40.

A 1996 Chevy Silverado pickup had gone into the ditch and rolled, ejecting the driver, Meyer, who was pronounced dead at the scene. He was alone in the vehicle.

At the time of the crash, road conditions were ice covered.

Also responding were the Raymond ambulance and fire departments and the Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad.
