Raymond routs Fairfax in amateur baseball

RAYMOND -- The Raymond Rockets pounded Fairfax pitching for 12 hits in an 11-1 non-league amateur baseball game Wednesday.

Mike Jeseritz, Kyle Knott, Zach Nelson and Tom DeBoer had two hits each to lead the Rockets (7-2).

Jason Meyer hit a two-run double in the third and Knott had a two-run single in the fifth.

Brandon Larson pitched six shutout innings for the win. He gave up two hits and struck out three.
