PENNOCK -- Damage to a vehicle and the theft of bullets and a rifle magazine from within was reported around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday along Fifth Street Northwest.

Theft

WILLMAR -- The theft of clothing and an iPod was reported around 5 a.m. Wednesday along the 2600 block of First Street South.

NEW LONDON -- The theft of a GPS unit was reported around 12:25 p.m. Wednesday along Birch Street.

Indecent exposure

WILLMAR -- A 45-year-old man was cited for indecent exposure, a misdemeanor charge, for exposing himself around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday along the 1400 block of Fifth Street Southwest.

Arrest

WILLMAR -- A 43-year-old woman was arrested on charges of driving while impaired and violating a restricted driver's license around 10:50 a.m. Wednesday along the 300 block of Seventh Street Northwest.

n Alberto Turrubiates, 34, of Willmar, was sentenced Wednesday to 21 months in prison, which was stayed, five years of probation, 180 days in jail and a $1,000 fine on a felony charge of domestic assault.

The charge was filed after May 26, when Willmar Police were called to Regency Estates West for a domestic incident. A woman there, who had injuries to her face, head and neck, said Turrubiates beat her for the way she danced at a party. She said that he had beaten her multiple times before, but that she hadn't reported the assaults.

Turrubiates had prior convictions for fifth-degree assault in October 2003 and gross misdemeanor domestic assault in 2005.
