Theft

WILLMAR -- A Sony stereo box was reported stolen Thursday afternoon in the 800 block of Johanna Avenue Southeast.

WILLMAR -- Golf clubs, a leaf blower and other items were reported stolen from an unattached garage at a home in the 500 block of 12th Street Northwest. The theft was reported Thursday afternoon. Several of the items were recovered later that day.

WILLMAR -- Wrestling shoes were reported stolen from the boys locker room at Willmar Senior High. The theft was reported Friday morning and was believed to have happened Thursday.

WILLMAR -- A Willmar woman reported Friday morning that she had been swindled out of $300 to $400 in an Internet scam.

Arrest

WILLMAR -- A man was arrested early Friday in the 900 block of Third Street Southeast in Willmar. He was charged with third-degree refusal to test, fourth-degree driving while impaired and driving without headlights.

Kandiyohi County

* A stay of imposition was granted Friday by Judge Michael J. Thompson for Ramon Solis Jr., 23, of Willmar, who pleaded guilty Sept. 12 to an amended count of third-degree drug sale charge, for selling 2.8 grams of methamphetamine to a CEE-VI Drug Task Force informant in March.

Solis was given credit for serving 26 days in the Kandiyohi County Jail, was ordered to pay $1,620 in fine and fees, and was placed on supervised probation for 20 years. Under the stay of imposition, his felony conviction will be reduced to a misdemeanor if Solis complies with the conditions of probation.

Solis was charged after an informant bought meth from Solis in a parking lot along the 300 block of Lakeland Drive Southeast for $150. The informant identified Solis via a Department of Motor Vehicle Services photo as the man who sold the drugs.
