n Martin William Danielson, 22, of Willmar, was sentenced Thursday to 16 months in prison on a felony charge of failing to comply with the requirements of a predatory offender.

Danielson was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and was ordered to register as a predatory offender. He was given credit for 145 days already served.

The charge was filed in April after a detective with the Willmar Police Department was conducting the quarterly predatory offender registration checks and noted that Danielson registered an address in Willmar's southeast quadrant in May. Danielson is required to register because of his August 2007 conviction for kidnapping.

The detective went to the address on April 2 and learned from a woman living there that Danielson had lived at the residence for a short time in January and had moved out. The woman said she did not know where Danielson was living, but did not think he was in Willmar.
