NEW LONDON -- A rock thrown through the window of a home was reported around 4:55 p.m. Sunday along the 19100 block of 62nd Street Northeast.
WILLMAR -- A 37-year-old Willmar woman was arrested for driving while impaired, driving after revocation and hit and run after officers were called to an accident around 9:15 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of East Highway 12 and Lakeland Drive.
NEW LONDON -- A fire, spreading from a fire pit, was reported around 6:15 p.m. Sunday along th 22800 block of Fifth Street Northwest. The New London Fire Department was on the scene for about 20 minutes.
WILLMAR -- A leaking anhydrous ammonia tank was reported around 10 p.m. Sunday near Lakeland Drive and Olena Avenue. Firefighters from Willmar, Pennock, Blomkest, Raymond and Kandiyohi assisted with securing the tank and removing it to the owner's storage facility.
Hopi Dawn Derheim, 37, of Minneapolis, made her first appearance Monday on two felony charges of theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly possessing a stolen vehicle.
Unconditional bail was set at $30,000. Conditional bail was allowed for $2,000. Her next appearance is May 18.
According to the complaint, an Atwater Police officer had stopped a vehicle around 12:40 a.m. Sunday and the driver, Derheim, was arrested for driving after cancellation - inimical to public safety. A passenger was arrested on a warrant for second-degree burglary in Ramsey County.
Derheim was processed and released on the charge and a search of her purse at the Law Enforcement Center revealed two credit cards in another woman's name.
Later that night, the owner of a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle that Derheim was driving reported the sport utility vehicle stolen. City officers relocated Derheim, who claimed a man gave her permission to use the vehicle and then allegedly said he offered to sell it to her for $400.
