Updated: Five injured in three-vehicle crash in Willmar

WILLMAR — Law enforcement officers were kept busy Monday responding to four traffic accidents that happened within a half-an-hour’s timeframe in the city of Willmar.

The first incident was reported 12:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of 19th Avenue.

The second crash happened at 12:27 p.m. on Ninth Street Southwest and Litchfield Avenue when a car struck a parked vehicle.

That was followed by a third crash at 12:47 p.m. on Willmar Avenue Southeast and Lakeland Drive.

The fourth accident happened at 12:54 p.m. on Litchfield Avenue Southwest and 10th Street Southwest.

Willmar police and the Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crashes, which were all described as property damage accidents.

There were no injuries reported in any of the incidents.

Theft

NEW LONDON — Stereo equipment was reported stolen at 7:33 a.m. Monday from a residence in the 100 block of Cedar Street Northeast.
