MONTEVIDEO — A suspect in a series of burglaries of Montevideo businesses was arrested Tuesday at his residence, the city police chief reported.
Erik Mckenzie Fultz, 33, was arrested without incident at his residence on North 17th Street, according to a news release from Police Chief Adam Christopher.
During an interview, Fultz admitted to being involved in the burglaries of Klein Bank on Feb. 24, Plaza Theater on Feb. 25, Art’s Dairy Freeze on March 13, Midwest Collision and Glass on April 5 and 11 and the attempted break-in of an ATM at the Highway 7 Minnwest Bank on April 12.
Montevideo Police also seek information from the public regarding the burglaries of Beal’s Optometry, Hair Station and storage units on Parkway Drive and the attempted burglaries of Jake’s Pizza and Whitmore Slater Insurance.
