This is the records summary for June 20.
According to the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, the crash on County Road 4 near the intersection with 280th Street, approximately six miles southwest of Danube in Flora Township, was reported just after 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Deputies responding to the crash found the vehicle, a 2011 Chevrolet Suburban, unoccupied. However, the driver, Jack Thomas Greenslit, 19, of rural Franklin, and passenger, Elliot Dane Schwab, 19, of Morton, were later located.
The investigation revealed that Greenslit was driving westbound on County Road 4 when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned. The vehicle was a total loss.
The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

WILLMAR — Two men, ages 25 and 28, were arrested on possession of drugs and synthetic marijuana around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Ninth Street and 20th Avenue Southeast.
- Jorge Isaac Tabora Rivera, 33, of Willmar, was sentenced Wednesday to 38 days in jail, three years of probation and a $50 fine on a felony forgery charge.
Tabora Rivera was also ordered to pay restitution, which is to be determined, and cooperate with agents from the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
As part of a plea agreement, two additional felony charges of aggravated forgery were dismissed.
The charges were filed after May 13, when Tabora Rivera was driving a vehicle that was stopped by a Willmar Police officer because the driver wasn’t wearing a seat belt. Tabora Rivera said there was no insurance on the vehicle and the officer saw a child in the car without a seat belt.
The identification card that Tabora Rivera gave police what appeared to be a fake ID, and the information he provided conflicted with the information provided by a friend who came to the traffic stop. Tabora Rivera was arrested and cited for the driving offenses and released. Using Jennie-O Turkey Store gift certificates found in Tabora Rivera’s wallet written out to Juan Pagan Febres, officers contacted human resources at Jennie-O.
The photo on record at Jennie-O, under the Pagan Febres name, matched Tabora Rivera, who admitted to signing several employment documents in the false name. He admitted to using a Missouri identification card and a Social Security card he’d purchased to work at the local plant and said he’d also worked there under another name, that of Moises Santiago Reyes.
