Both were taken to the Paynesville Area Health Care System by Paynesville Ambulance for treatment of their injuries. The Belgrade Fire and Rescue Department also was at the scene.

The golf cart was not equipped with seatbelts, and neither driver nor passenger was wearing a helmet, the Sheriff’s Office said.
