Forgery

WILLMAR — A case of forgery was reported around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Law Enforcement Center. A citizen reported that there were two fraudulent charges on their account.

Arrest

WILLMAR — A 24-year-old man was arrested on charges of driving after revocation around 10:10 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Lakeland Drive and Seventh Avenue Southeast.

Burglary

WILLMAR — A burglary was reported around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday along the 1700 block of Eighth Avenue Southeast. Missing items include electronics and jewelry.

Assault

WILLMAR — An assault was reported around 1:20 p.m. Wednesday along the 600 block of Trott Avenue Southwest.

District Court

Kandiyohi County

- Scott Lee Trevino, 18, of Pennock, made his first appearance Wednesday on two third-degree charges of criminal sexual conduct for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old girl.

Unconditional bail was set at $10,000. His next appearance is Nov. 25.

According to the complaint, Willmar Police were called on Oct. 18 by a person who said they had confronted Trevino about his sexual relationship with the girl.

Trevino was interviewed and allegedly admitted to having sex with the girl on two occasions in Willmar. He also allegedly admitted that he knew the girl was 14 years old and that sex with her was illegal. The age of legal consent in the state is 16 years old.

The girl was also interviewed and confirmed that she had relations with Trevino.
