Two men are jailed in connection to stabbing
The incident was reported around 3:30 a.m. in the 400 block of 12th Street Southwest, according to Willmar police, in a preliminary report that held few details.
The name and status of the victim, who was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, is not known.
The two men, a 42-year old and a 31-year old, were arrested and are being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail awaiting formal charges.
WILLMAR –– Several vehicles were damaged over the weekend, with reports of broken windows. Incidents were reported in the 13000 block of 24th Street Northwest, the 700 block of Second Street Southwest and the 900 block of Fifth Street Southeast.
SPICER –– A red 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup was reported stolen over the weekend from Manitoba Street and Lake Avenue. The keys had been left in the vehicle, according to the police report.
RAYMOND –– The theft of jewelry was reported Friday night in the 100 block of Third Avenue West.
Motorcyclist injured during charity ride
St. Joseph –– An Eden Prairie man, who was riding with a large group of motorcyclists in a charity event, was injured Saturday when his bike went off the road.
James Dau, 62, was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Department.
The accident occurred around 3 p.m. Saturday on Stearns County Road 138 in St. Joseph Township. As the group began to slow, Dau’s motorcycle went off the road and he was thrown from the bike.
WILLMAR –– An individual told the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office that someone was putting dead carp in his mailbox, located in the 1300 block of 45th Avenue Southwest. The victim told authorities that last year carcasses of dead animals had been left at the end of the driveway.
