Road work on state highways 40 and 67
WILLMAR — Road work on State Highway 40 begins on Wednesday and will continue on State Highway 67 both lasting until mid-June weather permitting.
Drivers on highway 67 will find a 3-inch bump on the west end of the bridge that crosses the Yellow Medicine River due to settlement repairs done over the weekend. Future repairs on the bridge will be necessary.

A bituminous overlay is being added to State Highway 40 from Kandiyohi County Road 5 in Willmar and will extend 20 miles west to State Highway 277.
Traffic will be allowed through both work zones but it will be slow as flaggers and pilot cars are leading drivers through the construction areas.
