Accident

SPICER — A rear-end collision in Spicer sent three locals to the hospital Wednesday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

John Bosch, 88, of Willmar, was traveling southbound on Highway 23 north of Manitoba Street when his vehicle rear-ended a vehicle in the left turn lane, occupied by Lynette Hodgson, 51, of New London, and her passenger, Haylee Hodgson, 17, of New London.

Bosch’s vehicle came to rest facing southwest in the intersection of Highway 23 and Manitoba Street. The Hodgson vehicle came to rest in the southbound lane on the southern edge of the intersection.

Bosch, Lynette Hodgson and Haylee Hodgson were all treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.

Thefts

HAWICK — A resident reported that a burglary occurred Wednesday evening on the 22000 block of 158th Street Northeast in Hawick.

WILLMAR — A ring was reported stolen Wednesday evening from a vehicle on the 1500 block of Sixth Street Southwest.
