Vandalism

RAYMOND -- The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office is investigating vandalism to the Raymond Supermarket. The damage to the store was reported Friday.

WILLMAR -- A car parked on Park Avenue Northwest had a rear passenger window damaged by a BB gun some time Thursday night or early Friday morning. The incident was reported Friday to Willmar Police. Two other car windows were shattered Thursday in a similar fashion.

Arrests

WILLMAR -- A 20-year-old male suspect was arrested Thursday in connection with an incident Thursday evening during which he allegedly kicked out the window in a Willmar apartment. The suspect faces a vandalism charge. He also was cited for underage drinking.

Fires

WILLMAR -- Firefighters responded to a grain dryer fire reported shortly before 11:30 p.m. Thursday at Farm Service Elevator in Willmar. The Willmar Fire Department was on the scene for about two hours.

A grain bin fire also broke out around 7:30 a.m. Friday at a farm near Sunburg.

Ambulance call

WILLMAR -- It sounded like an emergency. A family called the Willmar Ambulance Service Thursday evening because a youngster in the household had swallowed a quarter.

But by the time paramedics arrived, one of the adults in the household had managed to dislodge the quarter by patting the child on the back. No further medical treatment was required.
