SPICER -- The theft of a depth finder and ice auger from a fish house was reported around 11 a.m. Monday along Lake Avenue South. The caller reported the fish house had been on Green Lake when the theft happened.

WILLMAR -- A 21-year-old Willmar man was arrested on charges of domestic assault around 4 p.m. Saturday along the 200 block of Trott Avenue Southeast.
NEW LONDON -- A case of credit card fraud was reported around 4:20 p.m. Sunday along the 15000 block of 231st Avenue Northeast. The caller reported someone was using their card in California.
Girl to hospitalafter snowy crash
WILLMAR -- A 16-year-old Willmar girl was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital by a private party after a one-vehicle crash around 3:45 p.m. Sunday along Pacific Avenue Northwest.
According to the crash report, Kali Lynn Kidrowski was driving a 2000 Ford westbound on Pacific Avenue near Seventh Street Northwest, lost control on the snow-packed street and struck a railroad sign and light post.
- John David Tomes, 29, of Sacred Heart, made his first appearance Monday on felony driving while impaired charges.
Unconditional bail was set at $35,000. Conditional bail was allowed for $500, provided he not drive. His next appearance is Jan. 4.
According to the complaint, a Kandiyohi County Sheriff's deputy was on patrol on Saturday in the area of County Roads 25 and 5 when the officer met a vehicle that crossed the center line. The deputy stopped the vehicle and observed an open 24-pack of beer in the vehicle and a strong smell of alcohol coming from the driver. Tomes failed field sobriety tests and was arrested after breath test revealed a blood-alcohol content of 0.189. He refused further testing at the Law Enforcement Center. He has three prior convictions for impaired driving, in December 2003, September 2001 and May 2001.
- Bobby Cuellar Sr., 19, of Willmar, made his first appearance Monday on felony charges of domestic assault by strangulation and terroristic threats.
Unconditional bail was set at $60,000. His next appearance is Jan. 4. He also faces misdemeanor charges of domestic assault and petty misdemeanor charges of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession.
According to the complaint, Willmar Police were called to a home on the city's southeast side around 1:15 p.m. Saturday on a domestic. A woman there said she and Cuellar had argued over what she'd given a child to eat and that he punched her in the head and threatened to kill her.
The woman also reported they'd argued two days before and that he choked her and threw a glass at her. She said he'd threatened to blame her for drugs located in the home.
Cuellar was located by another officer at a local store and arrested.
