WILLMAR -- A 10-year-old Willmar boy was treated and released Friday from the Emergency Department at Rice Memorial Hospital after a motor vehicle/bicycle accident.
Jose Martinez, 10, of Willmar was taken to the hospital by ambulance after his bicycle and a vehicle driven by Showr Oman, 23, of Willmar collided at First Street and Trott Avenue. The accident occurred at 11:29 a.m. Friday.
WILLMAR -- A radio and an iPod were reported stolen from a pickup parked in the lot at West Central Sanitation, 4089 Abbott Dr. S.E., in Willmar. The theft was reported after 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
WILLMAR -- A stereo was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in front of a house in the 1000 block of Sixth Street Southwest in Willmar. The theft was reported at 8:30 a.m. Friday.
WILLMAR -- A stereo was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Becker Avenue Southwest. The theft was reported at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
SPICER -- A resident reported finding a hole in a window in a home in the 8500 block of Decathelon Drive in Spicer. The damage was reported at about 1:20 p.m. Thursday.
NEW LONDON -- Damage to the gazebo at Neer Park in New London was reported at 5 p.m. Thursday. The police report did not include details about the extent of the damage.
WILLMAR -- A resident in the 400 block of 30th Street Northwest reported at 2:30 a.m. Friday that tires had been slashed in a vehicle parked at her home. A suspect was identified and was being sought, according to the initial police report.
WILLMAR -- A tire was reported slashed on a van parked in the 400 block of 11th Street Southwest. The damage was reported after 7:30 a.m. Friday and was thought to have happened overnight.
