WILLMAR -- A Willmar woman, who allegedly ran a red light, was injured Sunday after the 1998 Chevy Trailblazer she was driving collided with another vehicle.
According to Willmar Police, Maricela Veliz, 36, was going south on First Street around 5:21 p.m. when she failed to stop for a red light and collided with a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Johnathan Dokken, 25, of Willmar. Dokken was going east on Trott Avenue at the time.
Veliz was treated for injuries at Rice Memorial Hospital. Two passengers in her car, an eight-year old and a four-year old, were not injured.
Dokken was not injured.
WILLMAR -- Police recovered a vehicle around 7 p.m. Sunday in Willmar that may have been stolen from Meeker County. The vehicle was found in the 1200 block of Seventh Street Southwest. It was unclear if the owner was going to file theft charges.
