He was sentenced to two years of probation, 365 days in jail, with 300 stayed and credit for 42 days served, and a $2,000 fine, with $1,250 stayed and $750 to pay.

The charge was filed after a Kandiyohi County sheriff's deputy was called to the jail around 12:15 a.m. Sept. 25 to investigate the assault of a corrections officer. A jailer reported that Conrad was being transported into the jail from Swift County, became uncooperative and violent and was put in a restraint chair.
