Arrest

WILLMAR -- A 19-year-old Brooten man was arrested for fifth-degree drug possession around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday during a traffic stop along the 100 block of Litchfield Avenue Southeast.

Juvenile citation

WILLMAR -- A 15-year-old boy was cited for disorderly conduct and fifth-degree assault around 5:20 p.m. Wednesday at the Kanid Mall, 1605 First St. S. A mall employee called police seeking assistance from for a mall security officer who was assaulted by the boy. The youth was later released to a parent.
