Driver to hospital after Meeker County crash
MANANNAH -- A 28-year-old Grove City man was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital after a one-vehicle rollover crash around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in the area of county roads 3 and 30 near Manannah.
According to the Meeker County Sheriff's office, Jason Allen Paul also may face charges of driving while impaired. Another man, Aaron David Kaufmann, 23, of Hutchinson, was also arrested for driving while impaired at the scene.
The Eden Valley fire, rescue and police, along with Gold Cross Ambulance, assisted at the scene.
Fish houses broken into on Long Lake
NEW LONDON -- The burglaries of two fish houses on Long Lake were reported Tuesday afternoon and evening. One of the reports included that a heater, fishing pole and battery were missing from a house. The suspect had approached the house on a snowmobile. The other report included that a heater was missing from the house.
SPICER -- A burglary and the theft of money was reported around 2:50 p.m. Tuesday along the 5900 block of 132nd Avenue Northeast.
WILLMAR -- A 27-year-old Willmar man was arrested on charges of assault around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday along the 400 block of Charlotte Avenue Southeast. The arrest came after a woman living along the 300 block of Seventh Street Northwest reported being assaulted by the man.
PENNOCK -- The Sunburg Fire Department was called around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to the 8400 block of 165th Avenue Northwest on a report of a chimney fire.
