WILLMAR -- An armed robbery Saturday night at the Super America on South First Street netted a suspect more than $200 cash. Willmar police described the suspect as a Hispanic male. Police said a weapon was involved. No other information was released Sunday night.

WILLMAR -- The Willmar Police Department investigated 20 reports of gang graffiti spray painted on garage doors, buildings and cars between Saturday night and Sunday morning in the northeast and southwest parts of town.

Fifteen homes, four commercial buildings and one church were damaged.

Black and silver paint was used, and the markings included pitchforks and the words "folks'' and "ISI.''

In the northeast part of town:

- Garages and residences were hit at five addresses in the 200 block of Havana Street; two vehicles and a garage were sprayed at three residences in the 200 block of Porto Rico Street; a stop sign was painted at the intersection of Porto Rico Street and High Avenue; a utility box was sprayed between the National Guard Armory and Kandiyohi County Historical Society and a shed was painted behind the historical society; and car in the garage and three business buildings were sprayed on High Avenue in the 200 block and between the 1100 and 1200 blocks.

In the southwest part of town:

- Two garages, including one at a church, were sprayed in the 500 block of 13th Street; two garages and a car in a garage were painted at three addresses in the 500 block of 14th Street; the garage and apartment building were sprayed in the 600 block of 16th Street; and a residence in the 1500 block of Minnesota Avenue was sprayed.

WILLMAR -- A Lake Lillian man reported the theft of a full-face helmet from the Kandi Entertainment Center in Willmar. The theft was reported early Sunday morning to Willmar police.
