WILLMAR -- A case of employee theft was reported around 2:40 p.m. Thursday at Target, 2505 First St. S.

WILLMAR -- The theft of a dog was reported around 2 p.m. Thursday along the 6300 block of County Road 5 Southwest. The caller said the dog went missing at the end of October.

WILLMAR -- The theft of a gaming system and controllers was reported around 7 p.m. Thursday along the 2600 block of 15th Avenue Northwest.

Kandiyohi County

- Pamela Elaine Nganga, 48, of Willmar, made her first appearance Friday on two felony charges of fifth-degree controlled substance sale for allegedly participating in the sale of 6.2 grams of marijuana to a CEE-VI Drug Task Force informant.

Unconditional bail was set at $10,000. Conditional bail was allowed on her personal recognizance. Her next court appearance is March 16.

According to the complaint, a CEE-VI agent had contact with a confidential informant on July 3. The informant was going to buy marijuana from Culisa Ann Thomas, 38, of Willmar for $30. Thomas made her first appearance Thursday on two felony drug charges.

The informant allegedly went to Thomas' apartment, picked her up and they traveled around the city going to various homes looking for pot to buy. Later that day, Thomas allegedly received drugs from Nganga and sold them to the informant. The informant later turned over the drugs, which tested positive as marijuana and weighed 6.2 grams.

- William Lee Stene, 20, of Willmar, made his first appearance Friday on a felony charge of receiving stolen property.

Unconditional bail was set at $10,000. Conditional bail was set at $1,000. His next court appearance is March 16.

According to the complaint, police were called July 29, 2007, to a southeast Willmar residence. The resident had returned from vacation to find $1,000 to $1,100 of jewelry missing. She told police her son had friends over to the house while she was gone. One of the missing pieces, a gold ring with an emerald, was pawned at the Pawn America store in St. Cloud three days earlier. Also pawned was a guitar, which the owner didn't know was missing from the house. The homeowner later reported to police that Stene had returned all the other missing items from the home to her son.
