Investigation reveals no sexual assault at high school
WILLMAR -- An investigation by the Willmar Police into a reported sexual assault in early November at the Willmar Senior High School revealed that there was no such assault at the school, according to Police Capt. David Wyffels.
A young female made the report around 11 p.m. Tuesday to police. The girl is seeking mental health care, Wyffels said.
SPICER -- The theft of items from a boat and the attempted theft of a trolling motor was reported around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday along Access Drive. The value of the missing items was estimated at $1,175.
NEW LONDON -- The theft of items from a home was reported around 9:50 p.m. Wednesday along the 5900 block of 240th Avenue Northeast.
WILLMAR -- The theft of Christmas decorations was reported around 9 a.m. Thursday along the 900 block of Becker Avenue Southwest. A red lantern, valued at $20, was missing from the caller's yard.
WILLMAR -- An assault was reported around 6:25 p.m. Wednesday along the 300 block of Fourth Street Southwest.
WILLMAR -- A sexual assault was reported around 2 p.m. Wednesday. A Princeton woman reported she had been assaulted on Nov. 21 at the local Holiday Inn, 2100 E. Highway 12.
WILLMAR -- An assault was reported around 1:20 a.m. Thursday at the VFW, 1108 E. Highway 12. A man reported he had been punched in the face.
WILLMAR -- A 30-year-old woman was arrested for driving after cancellation and no proof of insurance around 4:50 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of 13th Street and Becker Avenue Southeast.
WILLMAR -- Two males, ages 20 and 19, were cited for underage consumption during a traffic stop around 12:40 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of County Road 5 and 45th Street Southwest.
