Records, Jan. 31: Fire

ATWATER -- Atwater Volunteer Firemen were called to a fire Friday at a residence on Breezy Lane along Diamond Lake, but details were unavailable at press time.

The fire was initially reported around 3 p.m. as a garage fire. The fire fighters from Atwater called for assistance from Kandiyohi.

Atwater fire fighters were called back to the scene around 7:30 p.m.

WILLMAR -- Two more fish house break-ins were reported on area lakes.

A window was smashed on a fish house on Foot Lake, its owner told Willmar Police Friday.

About $400 to $500 worth of fishing gear, including six fishing poles, were stolen from a fish house on Calhoun Lake near Spicer, its owner told the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department on Friday.
