Window broken by BB gun

WILLMAR -- A BB gun was apparently used to damage a window on a house Sunday night on the 300 block of Litchfield Avenue Southeast.

The homeowner reported hearing the sound of glass being shattered around 8:23 p.m. and called to report the incident. An investigation by police found a bronze BB pellet in a window.

Fire calls

WILLMAR -- Fire alarms caused by burned toast alerted the Willmar Fire Department of a fire at 8:14 a.m. Monday at Pleasantview Health Care Center.

ATWATER -- Firefighters were alerted when a tree fell, took down a power line and struck a vehicle Monday morning on the 500 block of South Second Street in Atwater.
