WILLMAR -- A 49-year-old Willmar man was arrested for driving while impaired around 10:10 p.m. Friday along U.S. Highway 12 West near Industrial Drive. The arrest came after police received a report that a vehicle was driving in the wrong lane, then that the driver corrected his course and ended up in the ditch.

WILLMAR -- A 20-year-old New London man was arrested for driving while impaired around 10 p.m. along the 6600 block of 60th Street Northwest. A citizen had reported two vehicles driving into the ditch and into a pasture, tearing out a fence and leaving one vehicle behind.

WILLMAR -- A 25-year-old Willmar man was arrested for driving while impaired around 1:15 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Becker Avenue and Lakeland Drive Southeast.

KANDIYOHI -- A 29-year-old Eden Valley woman was arrested for driving while impaired around 2:15 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and County Road 8.

WILLMAR -- A 45-year-old Fergus Falls man was arrested for driving after cancellation - inimical to public safety around 7:45 a.m. Saturday along U.S. Highway 12 East near 28th Street.

WILLMAR -- A 44-year-old Olivia man was arrested for driving after cancellation - inimical to public safety and on two warrants around 8:40 a.m. Saturday along the 700 block of First Street South.

WILLMAR -- A 39-year-old man was arrested around 6:45 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Lakeland Drive and Lower Trentwood Circle Northeast for giving a false name to a peace officer and driving after cancellation.

WILLMAR -- A 49-year-old Willmar man was arrested for driving while impaired, driving after revocation and for giving a false name to a peace officer around 9:30 p.m. Saturday along the 600 block of Charlotte Street Southeast.

SPICER -- A 32-year-old Appleton man was arrested for first-degree driving while impaired, driving after cancellation - inimical to public safety and speeding around 12:20 a.m. Sunday along State Highway 23 near Medayto Drive.

RAYMOND -- A 46-year-old Raymond man was arrested for fifth-degree controlled substance, fleeing in a motor vehicle, driving while impaired and reckless driving around 3:30 a.m. Sunday along 128th Street and 75th Avenue Southwest. The arrest came after an officer attempted to stop a speeding vehicle and pursued the vehicle, which eventually turned into a field.

Property damage

WILLMAR -- Property damage was reported around 11:20 a.m. Saturday along the 800 block of Third Street Southwest. It appeared the taillight of a pickup had been smashed with a one-pound can of pork.

Burglary

NEW LONDON -- A home burglary and the theft of a purse was reported around 1:45 p.m. Sunday along the 18000 block of County Road 9 Northeast.

Shoplifter

WILLMAR -- A 47-year-old Willmar woman was cited for shoplifting around 11:25 a.m. Saturday at Super Wal-Mart, 700 19th Ave. S.E.

Assault

NEW LONDON -- A domestic assault was reported around 8:45 p.m. Saturday along the 19000 block of 64th Street Northeast.

RAYMOND -- A domestic assault was reported around 8:30 a.m. Sunday along Second Street South.

Fraud

WILLMAR -- A case of financial transaction card fraud was reported around 2:20 p.m. Sunday along the 400 block of 30th Street Northwest. A caller reported their bank had informed them of fraudulent activity on their credit card.

Barn fire under investigation

SPRING HILL -- A barn fire reported Friday night in Spring Hill Township is under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.

According to a news release from the agency, deputies were called around 11:30 p.m. Friday to 34901 County Road 14. The Elrosa, Lake Henry and Belgrade fire departments also responded. Approximately 20 or more cattle were lost in the fire.
