WILLMAR -- A 52-year-old Willmar man was arrested around 8:45 p.m. Thursday after allegedly wrapping up a female in duct tape and forcing her to sit outside in the rain. The suspect involved in the domestic situation will be charged with fifth-degree assault.



WILLMAR -- Graffiti was reported around 3 p.m. Thursday from the Willmar City Auditorium, 311 Sixth St. S.W. The caller indicated the south side of the building was tagged.

WILLMAR -- Graffiti was reported around 10:15 p.m. Thursday from Security Coin and Pawn Shop, 320 Litchfield Ave. S.W. The caller reported black paint markings on the alley-side of the building.

WILLMAR -- Graffiti was reported around 11 a.m. Friday from the 500 block of Litchfield Avenue Southwest.

WILLMAR -- Graffiti was reported around 9:15 a.m. Friday from the 400 block of Benson Avenue S.W.

WILLMAR -- Graffiti was reported around 11:15 a.m. Friday from the Heartland Community Action Agency, 200 Fourth St. S.W. The caller indicated the graffiti was on the west side of the building.


WILLMAR -- A black iPod was reported stolen Thursday afternoon from Willmar Senior High School, 2701 30th St. N.E. The incident happened sometime during the school day.

Fire calls

WILLMAR -- The Willmar Fire Department was called around 9 a.m. Friday for a situation at Regency Estates, 401 30th St. N.W. The Fire Department discovered a home at the location had a gas leak after a stove pilot light went out. Residents were advised to evacuate the home until the leak was fixed.
