REDWOOD FALLS (AP) -- A high school teacher in south-central Minnesota who was arrested in a child pornography investigation has pleaded guilty to three counts of possessing pornography.

Jason Kedl, 37, resigned from his teaching job at Red Rock Central High School in Lamberton before entering his plea, which was part of a deal with prosecutors.

Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 24 in Redwood County Court. The plea deal calls for a sentence of 120 days in jail, no contact with anyone under 18 and other restrictions.

Court documents say the state Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force tipped local authorities that suspicious files were being posted from a Red Rock Internet address.

That Internet address was traced to the Kedl residence where a search warrant was executed. The search turned up 438 images or movie files of child pornography on his home computer.
