Regal turns back NL-Spicer, 4-2

Email

REGAL -- Chris Beier threw seven strong innings, and then shifted to third base where he started a game-ending double play to snuff a New London-Spicer rally and allow Regal to polish off the Twins 4-2 Sunday.

The Twins had drawn two walks off reliever Shane Radermacher with one out in the top of the ninth. Austen Hadley was brought in from shortstop in relief and his first pitch was hit sharply to Beier, who stepped on third and threw to first for the Twin killing.
