MARSHALL — Three agricultural experts will be featured March 13 at the 29th annual Farm Outlook Seminar at the Southwest Minnesota State University Conference Center.
The Farm Outlook Seminar raises scholarship dollars for SMSU’s agriculture programs and features nationally known experts discussing topics such as weather, crop outlook, livestock strategies and prices as they relate to the upcoming spring farm season.
Registration is from 8 to 9 a.m. and will be followed by the speakers. A prime rib lunch is provided, and the day concludes at 4 p.m.
The presenters include Vince Malanga, president and CEO of LaSalle Economics Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in financial market analysis and economic forecasting for industrial organizations and financial institutions; Jerry Gulke, founder of the Gulke Group, a research and information analysis firm providing marketing strategies for producers from all aspects of agriculture; and Roger Wallace, commodity broker and analyst for Scoular Grain Co.
