Renville man to hospital after crash east of Sacred Heart, Minn.

SACRED HEART -- A 35-year-old Renville man was treated and released at Renville County Hospital for injuries sustained in a read-end type crash around 6:10 a.m. Saturday east of Sacred Heart.

According to the State Patrol, Jeremy Spieker was driving a vehicle that struck from behind a 1999 International semi driven by Joseph Lingl, 20, of Bird Island. The crash happened along U.S. Highway 212 three miles east of Sacred Heart. Lingl was not injured.
