Renville woman injured on icy roads last night near Winthrop

WINTHROP -- A Renville woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident last night north of Winthrop.

According to the State Patrol, Carol Baumann, 62, was injured around 8 p.m. when she lost control of the 1999 Ford pickup she was driving on state Highway 15.

The south-bound vehicle left the roadway and rolled.

The road was icy at the time of the accident, according to the Patrol.

Baumann was taken by Winthrop ambulance to a Hutchinson hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
