Reyes shoulder injury ends his Golden Glove bid
Willmar's Santos Reyes saw his bid for an Upper Midwest Golden Gloves boxing title snuffed when his shoulder popped out in the second round of the 123-pound semifinal on Saturday at Walker.
Facing 2009 champion Brad Heroff, Reyes started well by winning the first round on the card of all five judges. But Heroff rallied and knocked Santos to the canvas, injuring his shoulder.
