Richard S. Logan June 8, 1914 - March 24, 2009
MORRIS -- Richard Steven Logan, 94, of Morris died Tuesday at the Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. Burial will be at St. Theresia's Catholic Cemetery in Donnelly.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday with a rosary at 7 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was born June 8, 1914, in Donnelly to Frank and Anna (Deutsch) Logan. He grew up in rural Donnelly and attended country school. He lived with his parents where he farmed and later was caregiver to his mother. He remained on the family farm until 1987 when he moved to Morris. In 2005, he moved to Sky View Court where he lived until a month ago. He moved to West Wind Village in Morris. He was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church, the Eagles and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his siblings: Lucille Olson of Yuma, Ariz., and Sam (and Ellie) Logan of Chokio.
He was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.
