Richmond, Minn., woman, children hurt in rollover crash
RICHMOND - A 27-year-old Richmond woman and two children were taken to Paynesville and St. Cloud hospitals for treatment of injuries sustained in a one-vehicle rollover crash around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday north of Richmond.
According to a news release from Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner, Sandra Brix was driving a 2001 Chevy southbound on County Road 23, near the intersection with County Road 161, struck a mailbox, lost control and entered the ditch. The car then rolled several times.
Brix and her son, Corey, age 3, were taken by Paynesville Ambulance to St. Cloud Hospital. Her daughter, Brooklynn, also 3, was taken by Paynesville Ambulance to the Paynesville Hospital.
The crash is under investigation. Also responding were the Chain of Lakes Fire Department and the Cold Spring-Richmond Police Department.
