Ridgewater College to host multicultural week

WILLMAR -- The Willmar campus of Ridgewater College will host its fourth annual Multicultural Week beginning Monday.

Events are free of charge, and the public is welcome to attend.

Different events and presentations are planned for Monday through Thursday. The goal is to engage students, staff and the community in thinking about the role cultural backgrounds play in people's lives.

The week will include several movies with cultural themes which will be followed by discussions regarding the role culture played in the characters and plot.
