Ridgewater reduced to state spoiler role

The Ridgewater Lady Warriors basketball team did not qualify for the state tournament despite tying for fourth place in the Southern Division.

Instead, the Lady Warriors will host Minnesota West today at 7 p.m. that will determine the final team to qualify.

If Ridgewater beats Minnesota West, Hibbing will get the invite. If Minnesota West wins, it will qualify.

The state tournament begins on Friday in Willmar and concludes on Sunday.
