Ridgewater, Rochester playing for title today

Much is on the line today when Ridgewater College plays host to Rochester Community and Technical College at 7 p.m. in a one-match playoff to determine the MCAC Southern Division champion, after each finished 9-1.

The winner automatically qualifies and will be host site for the Region 13A Tournament Oct. 31-Nov. 1. A second bid goes to the South team that finishes highest at the state tournament Saturday-Sunday at Thief River Falls.
