The event is for people who are still considering starting college this fall but have not yet registered.

Participants will be guided through the admissions process and applying for financial aid. They will be able to schedule appointments with academic advisors or for assessment testing.

"It is a great opportunity for individuals who understand the tremendous value a college edu-cation provides, but may be intimidated, or overwhelmed by the process, or just aren't sure what they want to do," said Sam Bowen, Ridgewater director of communication and marketing, in a news release Monday.

Many programs still have seats available.

As an incentive, Ridgewater will issue certificates good toward $20 at the campus bookstore for anyone who completes an application during the event.
